Day 1: Arriving at Sofia
Arriving at city of Sofia. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation. Overnight.

Day 2: Sofia - Koprivshtitsa – Kazanlak
Breakfast.
Departure for the historic town Koprivshtitsa. City walk and viewing traditional Bulgarian revival house.
Lunch.
Arriving at Kazanlak. Accommodation. Free time.

Day 3: Kazanlak – Veliko Tarnovo
Breakfast.
Visiting the Thracian tomb in Kazanlak – part of the UNESCO World Heritage.
Lunch.
Arriving at the Architectural-Etnographic complex – Etara and visiting the Etnographic museum.
Arriving at city of Veliko Tarnovo. Accommodation.
Overnight.

Day 4: Veliko Tarnovo – Arbanasi – Veliko Tarnovo
Breakfast.
Arriving at Arbanasi village with rich history and large number of historical monuments. Visiting the Nativity of Christ Church and Konstantsalieva House Museum.
Lunch.
City walk in Veliko Tarnovo:

• Samovodska charshiya – the market of the old city, Hadzhi Nikoli inn, Bulgarian Revival museum, the first Bulgarian Parliament. Visiting the famous Tsarevets hill.

Free time.
Overnight.

Day 5: Veliko Tarnovo – Rose factory – Starosel – Plovdiv
Breakfast.
Visiting a rose factory and introducing to the craft of rose oil production.
Arriving at Starosel, a village known for the abundance of ancient Neolithic and Thracian sites.
Lunch and wine tasting in a local winery. Arriving at city of Plovdiv. Accommodation. Overnight.

Day 6: Plovdiv – Sofia
Breakfast.
Visiting the Old city:

• East Gate of ancient Philippopolis

• Dzhumaya Mosque

• Hissar kapiya

• Etnographic museum

• Saints Constantine and Helena church

• The Ancient Roman Stadium

• The Ancient Roman amphitheatre.

Departure for city of Sofia.

Day 7: Sofia – Rila Monastery
Breakfast.
Departure for Rila Monastery - part of the UNESCO World Heritage. Viewing the monastery.
Lunch.
Returning back to Sofia.

Day 8: Leaving Sofia
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. End of the programme.
